Estonian travelling: Finland. Week 3. Northern Magic EVS 2016

On the third week we had the path going on already. In the mornings we had to lit the candles on the path so kids could see where they have to go and it would be more magical. Also they told us the path should start (lets say) at 8:00, but the kids were late all the time + organising problems... Usually more than half an hour, but totally depends! One time we were waiting for almost an hour.. Fuck that shit. So we were outside just waiting, freezing and doing nada... I was so pissed because gwtf? This is not how you treat us tra.. One time I was so close going in our cottage because I would do sooo much more useful things in there. Basically when the kids finally arrived the sun had already rised and the candles lost their point. But we still had to lit them every morning because of some reasons. And some times we did the path for adults. It would be fine if it would be like for 3 groups. But we had to do to so many adult groups...Too many...,

Bought a bubble-maker to keep me occupied and pass the time. Actually I wanted to make bubbles in minus degrees and film them freezing but the bubbles broke all the time. Kayy gwatevaa. Kids loved the bubbles, I was so popular among them

Me and Triin were in the first station where kids had to smell christmas scents and guess them. There was cinamon, orange peel, fir branches and clove

Bigger stage where finns played one small part of their show. First they did it in Finnish and after they improvised in English. Then we understood something. Even I didn´t undersand when they were speaking in Finnish

On Wednesdays we don´t wear pants. Well there was no need for pants because we went to sauna! Very nice very nice. We were enjoying sauna and in the mid-sauna time James came back!! I was so happy to see him that I hugged him even though I was wet :D I was the only one who knew he is coming, others had no idea. When someone mentioned James I just wanted to tell everyone that he is coming but I couldn´t because it was a secret. I made sure that Turks couldn´t also find out when he is coming :D

In there me and Triin sang couple of times aswell because real Mrs Santa aka Heidi was sick and we had to replace her (Fun fact, Heidi was also laughing all the time and very loud like me :DD) We are the closest to Finnish language so we were the obvious choice. We made James play for us on ukulele and we sang to it. All the others who were outside came inside when kids weren´t there cos it was too cold to wait outside.....

I fucking hate "Tip-Tap song" so much! We had to sing it way too many times... Every time I hear it I want to puke. But we decided to sing "Aisakell" ("Jingle bells") aswell cos why the fuck not. One time we had 3 groups in a row, with the first group we sang only "Tip-Tap", with the second group we sang "Tip-Tap" and "Aisakell" and for the 3rd group we sang "Tip-Tap" and while we were singing "Aisakell" we just started laughing with Triin and we couldn´t stop! It was too funney. And ofc we had no idea why we did it :DD Like I tried to sing cos I didn´t want to dissapoint kids, but Triin was just out. Hahaha good times! <3

We were hanging out with James, talking and playing cards when Jo come to us and told us to come to eat cake. We didn´t need a second invitation. It was saahah delicious

One time Päivi took us to Kokkola by car to party. Some went to a concert, some went to WEST COAST. In WC (haha wc) there was a concert also (Y)

We went to the supermarket and kind of waited for a taxy for a bloody hour. I called, they said they will come in 20 minutes. 20 minutes passed and I called them again, 10 minutes. 10 minutes passed and I called them again. Then I cancled that taxy cos that might anyway be more expencive because it was big car for like 7 people. The guy said nono he will be there in 5 minutes, but too late. Called another taxy and that finally arrived, late but it arrived
