Finland. Week 2. Northern Magic EVS 2016

Our EVS topic was to make Elf path for childern. On the second week we started to prepare the path for kids. We could chose where we want to be: documentation group, elf path group or elf school group. I wanted to be in Elf Path group and I was chosen there. Win! I did not want to be in documentation group as my first option because I  am anyway doing it on my own but it was my second choice

If Villa Elbas staff needed our help, we helped them. Like in here. We helped them to bring a boat from the sea and put it backwards

There was smoke everywhere and guys told they could smell it from outside aswell xD Organisers told to us at the beginning when the smoke detectors start working the fire fighters will arrive in like 5 minutes and Villa Elba has to pay like 800 €. So I almost invited them. Well done Mel! :D Black bread mmm

Place where you climb in, close the door and it is completely dark. From there you have to find your way out. Was not so fun for me cos when I was there, bloody dumb ****s came inside to "help" me and they touched me

Every TUESDAY we went to one youth center and played pool. On TUESDAYS is was 18+ so no kids there. This is us after we cycled almost an hour there cos it was snowing and someone did not how to ride a bike and broke it several times.. ;D

Zoltan broke the bike again (mmm strong man). That time when we were coming back I was just laughing all the time because we were talking with Zoltan but I did not understand what he was trying to say to me at all xDD

One time we had workshop in that room. Lets call it Studio

So, there was looots of costumes and I had so much fun there as you can see from upcoming pictures. We had to work on something, but obviosly I did not work because I was busy doing something else, something more productive

Hahahahahahaha fuck. Triin put that costume on and after she tried to get that costume off but she could not get it off. I tried to help her but I could not help her because I was laughing sooo hard x''''D I felt really bad because my friend is stuck in a bloody costume and I was suppose to help her but I could not because I was craughing (laughing and crying at the same time)

Me and Triin started making decorations in the studio but it was closed so we continued to make them in the main builing

There we had to make elves. Cut the chicken wire into right size and shape. Put fir branches in it and add elf hat and nose

Elif bought a dead animal to his brother. So in my cottage lived Triin, Elif and Esra from Turkey and Carmel aka caramel from Ireland. I would liked if we would have been divided from our countries, so me and Triin would not be together in the same house and also non of the other nationalities. If countries would be seperated from each other, people can´t talk in their own language so they have to talk in english. Basically it is better for everyone. Some can practise english (or other languages), learn about other cultures ETC! I was kind of dissapointed about it at the beginning, because I though it is obvious, but nope, not for all. But I was happy that I was together with Triin, we talked to much shit and laughed all the time! If I needed some advice, she was always there to talk to <3

WEST COAST. Our favourite pub. We went to one other youth center, what was kind of weird and awkward but someone recommended it to us there. There was happy hours from time to time, we only went to them, because Welcome to Finland!

We went there by 3 bikes, Imi and Triin on one bike, me and Zoltan had our own bikes. Before reaching Kokkola my bike broke down so we left our bikes somewhere next to a tree. On Happy hour the beer cost 3,5 € so that was kind of tolerable. Before the happy hour ended we ordered lots of bier

After that we went to some other place, sang karaoke what was kind of a fail. Me and Triin decided to sing "Jos sä tahdot niin" and her microphone did not work so I had to sing it by myself. In the mid song, she discovered her microphone did not work so she turned it on and then we finished the song together :DD

Ihhh dzii, I felt soo bad the next day.. It was so horrible and embarrassing :D
