Estonian travelling: Eiffel Tower

First time we went with Delphin to the tower. We came from the metro and we were looking for that, didn´t see in anywhere. Decided to go next to the river and maybe we will see it at some point. Walked a bit and then we saw it, it was behind that builing on the right :D

The Eiffel Tower is a tower named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel. Constructed from 1887-1889. It was built to celebrate the 100th year enniversary of the French Revolution. Tower is 324 m tall and it is the tallest structure in Paris and the second-tallest structure in France after the Millau Viaduct. The top floor is 276 m and it is the higest observation deck accessivle to the public in EU

Ticket to the second floor for under 24 by walking was 5€, with lift 8,5€. To the top was 14,5€ and there you could go only by lift. We checked and while we were there there wasn´t free places for the elevator. From ground floor to the 1st froor is more than 300 steps and the same to the 2nd floor. You walk along the "labyrinth" then they will check your bags and then you can enter. They took my glass bottle :''' I was so sad and pissed.. Next time when we entered we could not enter with horse mask, it is a mask so I kind of get it why it is not allowed

Almost 7 mln visitors a year, making it the most visited monument that you have to pay for in the world

Eiffel had a permit for the tower to stand for 20 years. Then it was planned to be demolished in 1909, when its ownership would revert to the City of Paris. The City had planned to tear it down but as the tower provided to be valuable for communication purposes, it was allowed to remain after the expiry of the permit
